Clinical Research

Seidenberg Protzko Eye Associates participates in National Clinical Research Studies.  These studies seek new or improved treatments for many ocular diseases such as Glaucoma, Cataracts, Dry Eye, Blepharitis, Conjunctivitis and Allergies.

Clinical Trials are required by the FDA to monitor and determine the effectiveness of medications, therapies or devices on patients before they are approved for the general public.  An Independent Review Board (IRB) has approved any Clinical Trial we participate in and details for the purpose of the study will be given to the patient before participating.

Some benefits of participating in clinical research include:

  1. Learning more about your condition while helping others by assisting researchers in finding better and more effective ways to treat a particular ailment
  2. Free study related eye examinations
  3. Possible financial compensation for your time
